We were introduced to it by the popular Japanese stylist and beauty expert – Jukuko Tanaka, who attracted the attention of millions people worldwide.

In recent years the interest for the Zogan massage by women of all ages is only increasing. Zogan massage is quite simple to implement, easy to learn and accessible to all, and it only takes away 5-7 minutes a day.

And in your hands, it becomes a powerful tool not only for the preservation of youth, but also for a notable facial rejuvenation.

Jukuki Tanaka guarantees that you will already notice the first positive results after two weeks of daily massage.

The Zogan massage has a significant effect in the rejuvenation:
It visibly reduces wrinkles, the skin becomes taut, smooth and elastic, it forms the correct facial contours, eliminates the swelling and puffiness of the face, dark circles are diminished or have completely disappeared, it solves the problem of the “second double chin”.
This strong effect is achieved due to the massage of certain “magical points of beauty.”

Lymphatic massage- Zogan triggers the removal of toxins, improves tissue nutrition and relieves them of excess fluids

A deep massage of the facial muscles, which includes the technique of manual therapy relaxes the muscles, has a soothing effect on the skin and on the blood vessels of the face, strengthens and revitalizes them, tightens facial contours.

Daily massaging the face (5-7 minutes per day), will significantly rejuvenate facial skin, eliminate the small, and significantly reduce the deep, wrinkles. It solves the swellings, bloating, dark circles and double chin.

Perform the Zogan massage using oils or creams for massage, which are applied to a cleansed face.
Jukuko Tanaka recommends cotton oil. Some call it the “golden oil”. It contains large amounts of vitamins, minerals and omega-6 fatty acids.

It is rich in Phytosterols, which give it durability, but also enable it to be easily absorbed into the skin.
It leaves a special feeling of smoothness. It is very light in texture and gets quickly absorbed by the skin.

If you do not find cotton oil, you can safely use other vegetable oil, suitable for the facial skin (such as olive or almond oil, etc.).
Contraindications for performing this massage:
– a disease of the lymphatic system
– ENT diseases
– diseases of the facial skin
If you have a cold, a runny nose, and you have a fever – better to refrain from massage, because it primarily affects the lymphatic system, activating it.

You don’t have to envy your blonde friends anymore. You don’t have to damage your hair by dyeing or bleaching in order to achieve natural locks on your chestnut colored hair, too. If you’re tired of being a brunette, here are 5 easy advices for you so you can lighten your hair in a natural way, using products that you already have in your kitchen!

Chamomile tea

If you have a very dark hair and you would like to give it a golden shine, some chamomile tea can help you. Fill a big cup with boiling water and leave the tea bag inside for 10 minutes. When the tea cools down, pour it over your clean hair and leave it overnight. Wash your hair thoroughly and repeat the procedure as much as you want. Chamomile is one of the mildest essential oils, so you may use it on colored hair, too without the fear of breaking. This tea is also good against dandruff.

Lemon

Cut one lemon in half and separate thin pieces of hair that you’ll put the lemon on. You may also mix two tablespoons of lemon juice with a cup of hot water and cover your hair with that and then dry it on sunlight, which will help activate the lemon. After that, don’t forget to apply some nutrient mask on your hair, for example one that contains coconut oil, because the lemon juice can dry your hair.

Cinnamon

If you’re afraid that you’re going to lighten your hair too much, it would be best to start treating it with a cinnamon mask, which makes changes the least visible. Mix a teaspoon of cinnamon with some water so you can get a paste. First, apply some regenerator on your hair and then the cinnamon paste. You’re your hair in a towel or a shower cap and leave it to rest for at least 6 hours and it would be best to leave it like that overnight. Wash your hair. Enjoy your lighter locks and wonderful smell!

Vodka

Mix one unit of vodka with two units of soda water in a plastic sprinkler and spray your locks while you’re resting under the sunlight. When alcohol is mixed with sunrays, it penetrates inside the natural pigment of your hair. If you want a little refreshment during the summer days, prepare a double dosage!

Baking soda

Mix a teaspoon of baking soda with some water and apply the mixture once a month, after shampooing, in order to lighten your hair gradually and in a natural way. Baking soda is an alkaline ingredient that will penetrate inside the outer part of your hair, so don’t apply it if your hair is too damaged.

How to Make Your Own Homemade Lemon and Coconut Chemical-Free Deodorant!

First thing you should do, is make your own lemon and coconut chemical-free deodorant. The antiperspirants and deodorants that we use every day probably contain aluminum that can be absorbed in our breast tissue and be a potential risk of breast cancer, or cause other health problems.

But that is not the only harmful ingredient.

Deodorants and antiperspirants also contain Parabens (synthetic preservatives). Actually, our body care products contain an alarming amount of parabens. CDC performed a study on 100 human urine specimens and the results showed that all of them contained parabens. That proves the high absorption rate of chemicals we apply on our skin.

The absorption of these chemicals can lead to hormonal balance disruption, resulting in early puberty in children and increased risk of hormonal cancer. Exposure of paraben has also been associated with organ toxicity and birth defects.

Another common ingredient used in deodorants and antiperspirants is Propylene glycol (petroleum based material). Because of its slick consistency, it is used to soften cosmetic products. It is less expensive way to make care products for skin easily applicable.

Studies have shown that if consumed in large quantities, it can induce damage to the liver, heart or the central nervous system.

Propylene glycol is found in a lot of processed food as well. So, we need to decrease our exposure to it.

Phthalates are class of chemicals also used in antiperspirants and deodorants. They are used in medical goods, plastics, synthetic fragrances, cosmetics and body care products. Phthalates help other ingredients to be solved, and to create better consistency.

Phthalates are associated with different health issues. High phthalate levels in blood and urine in women of child bearing age have been associated with higher risk of birth defects. This indicates that phthalates can increase the possibility of cell mutation and may disrupt hormone receptors.

Another common ingredient used in deodorants and antiperspirants is Triclosan. It is used as odor killing ingredient because it has anti-bacterial properties.

FDA classified triclosan as pesticide, and the Environmental Protection Agency classified it as probable carcinogen.

So, it is safer, cheaper and way better to make your own lemon and coconut deodorant without chemicals:

Ingredients:

- baking soda (4 tbsp)
- organic cornstarch or arrowroot (4 tbsp)
- coconut oil – soft or at room temperature (6 tablespoons)
- lemon essential oil (10 drops)

How to make it:

- Mix the ingredients in a blender and put them in a BPA-free jar
-  Put it in a fridge to solidify and keep it cold (refrigerated).
- Keeps 6 months
